MICLE, a 24-year-old artist hailing from Enugu state, introduces a refreshing sound he calls “Pink music,” aimed at spreading joy, hope, and happiness. In this exclusive interview, MICLE shares insights into his background, creative process, and aspirations as he embarks on his music journey.
Q: Tell us about MICLE. What is your background?
A: My name is MIRACLE and I am 24 yrs of age from Enugu state, I have 3 siblings a Boy and 2 girls..Yeah I finished my ND level of education as an architect at Ebonyi state before deciding to move into music fully.
Q: How would you describe your sound and style as an artist?
A: My sound and style can be referred to as “Pink music” ….. I wanna use my music and craft to give Joy, hope and happiness to everyone in the society
Q: What do you believe sets your music apart from other artists in the industry?
A: My sound, my style & color, my fanbase … it’s all different. Pink music is surely not something anyone would expect from a male artist …. But I created it and it’s all making sense.
And also I refer to my fanbase as “Celebrants” … my fans are the real celebrities, they are the ones to be celebrated.
Q: What was the creative process like when writing and recording “Celebrants” and why did you choose it to be your debut single?
A: Where I come from, to eat 3 times a day was a difficult one , to survive was a difficult one and this is what many Nigerians face….. but as a young guy with big dreams …. I didn’t stop pushing, I didn’t give up and what made it easy was the support I was getting from the little fan base I have … they kept me going , they gave me confidence and I was able to realize they are the real celebrities, they are the ones to be celebrated…….without them, there will be no Micle
And that’s why I call them Celebrants, everyone supporting my music , my craft are to be celebrated and loved
Q: Are there any specific themes or messages you aim to convey through your music?
A: Yeah like I said earlier, I wanna use my music to give the hopeless hope , give the sad joy, give the everyone a reason or more to be alive and thankful to God
Q: How has the response been to your craft and music been so far?
A: Honestly, I’m amazed …. Yeah for real I’m surprised ….. Seeing my song on the chart, seeing people show love to my sound is unbelievable
Q: As a new artist, what challenges have you faced breaking into the music industry?
A: Yeahhh if you listened to celebrants, it’s all in there …. But I’m thankful for grace
Q: Are there any artists or musicians who have influenced your musical journey?
A: Yeah, Olamide, Burna Boy, Wizkid , Davido and 6lack ….. they are the reasons why I believe I can sing music and make the best out of it
Q: What can fans expect from you in terms of future releases or projects?
I have over 50 songs ready …. So they should expect the best from me this year and many years to come.
Q: How do you plan to continue growing and evolving as an artist moving forward?
Believe in myself, my fans and my team, also improve myself and pray to God
